Have you ever wanted to live in a hotel? Do you want to experience one of the most exclusive internship opportunities in beautiful Hawaii? Here is a guide to getting one of these internships.
4 Steps To An Internship In Hawaii
1) Search the career websites of Starwood Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Marriott Hotels for job postings at Hawaii hotels. Use a location filter or keyword search to find all jobs matching 'Hawaii'.
2) Create a profile and submit your application for an internship at a Hawaiian hotel with one of the previously mentioned hospitality ownership and management organizations.
3) Call the HR department of the hotel at which you applied. Internship hiring is managed at each hotel property by a Director of Human Resources. Get in touch with this person by phone or email and inquire about a phone interview.
4) Call hotel properties and ask about hotel internships even if there are no job openings for internships at these properties posted on the corporate careers site. Hotels often have internship positions filled by connections with college hospitality programs, cooking schools and third-party internship recruiters. Ask if you can email your resume for review and be considered for these jobs.

I actually moved to Hawaii when I was a young man just to experience it. After a couple of months and studying the area I got my pedi-cab license. This was a great way to work in downtown waikiki and make very good money at the time. I do think that pedi-cabs have been limited to certain areas now but who knows. At the time we made $1.00 per minute for riders and this was quite some time ago. I love the hub on Hawaii and think anyone who is willing to take a risk should just go for it.
